Graco is recalling eight models of their "My Ride 65" convertible child restraints.
According to the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration, these child seat models may not adequately retrain a child in the event of a crash.
The recall is expected to affect 25,494 units.
Model numbers affected for the "My Ride 65" convertible restraints are: 1871689, 1908152, 1813074, 1872691, 1853478, 1877535, 1813015, and 1794334. The seats were made July 22, 2014, and have a code of 2014/06 on the tag found in the harness.
Dealers will provide consumers with a replacement harness, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin July 17th, 2017.
